This notice explains how Overbaked Studio handles personal data on its website, overbaked.studio. We have kept the site deliberately simple and collect very little personal data. It also serves as our information notice under Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

Who we are

The data controller is Overbaked Oyun Geliştirme Yazılım Pazarlama Anonim Şirketi, trading as Overbaked Studio, based in Istanbul. Full company details are on our Legal Notice page, and you can contact us at hello@overbaked.studio.

What we collect

This site has no user accounts and no contact form, and it uses no advertising and no third-party tracking. The only personal data involved is the following:

• Launch updates. If you enter your email to be notified at launch, it is sent to our email provider, Buttondown, which stores it and delivers the updates. We use it only for that, and you can unsubscribe at any time from the link in any email.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server logs that can include your IP address, browser type, and basic request details. We use this to operate and protect the site.
• Email. If you email hello@overbaked.studio, we receive your message and email address so we can reply.
• Link click measurement. When you click one of our short links (go.overbaked.studio/...), our own server counts the click before sending you on, so we can measure how our marketing performs. From the request we derive coarse, non-identifying details (approximate country and region, device type, browser, language, and the referring site) and then discard the raw IP address and browser string. We set no cookies for this, build no profiles, and you can opt out by turning on Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser. This is done under our legitimate interest in measuring our own campaigns, and the data is kept for at most 36 months. Country lookups use the DB-IP database (IP Geolocation by DB-IP, db-ip.com).

We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for advertising or profiling.

Cookies

This site does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies, and the link click measurement described above is also cookieless. See our Cookie Policy for details.

How long we keep data

Server logs are kept only for as long as needed to run and secure the site. Emails you send are kept for as long as needed to handle your request.

Hosting

Our website is hosted by Vercel, which operates internationally, so technical data such as server logs may be processed on servers outside Turkey. We keep the data involved to the minimum described above. If you have any questions about this, please contact us.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, request information about it, learn the purpose of processing, know any third parties it is shared with, request correction or deletion, ask that such changes be passed on to third parties, object to a result produced solely by automated analysis, and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

To use these rights, email hello@overbaked.studio and we will respond as soon as possible and within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK, you have equivalent rights under the GDPR, which we will honour where they apply. You may also contact the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority at kvkk.gov.tr.

Changes

We may update this notice from time to time. If we add new ways of collecting data, we will update it first.
