Games Like Antimatter Dimensions: Reset Layers Compared
What are the best games like Antimatter Dimensions?
Revolution Idle is the closest game to Antimatter Dimensions: it uses the same Infinity at about 1.79e308 and the same next layer, Eternity. Synergism has the most reset layers of any game here, five. Trimps is the one for challenge runs. Every pick is on Steam; browser-only and phone-only incrementals are outside this list.
Updated October 2026.
The list is built for one kind of player: the person who stopped caring about antimatter around the second Eternity and kept playing for the next rule change. I sorted the games by how much of Antimatter Dimensions’ structure each one keeps, and I left out anything I could not confirm on a store page or a fan wiki. Five of the six give you at least one of the things that keep Antimatter Dimensions going after the first Infinity: a reset on top of a reset, challenges that change a run, or automation you set up yourself. NGU INDUSTRIES is the exception, and it is here for slow optimisation instead.
What makes Antimatter Dimensions hard to replace?
Antimatter Dimensions is an incremental game. An incremental game is a game built around numbers that grow faster than you can spend them: you buy something that makes more of the resource, which buys more of that thing, until the scale changes and new systems appear. The explainer on what an incremental game is covers prestige and how idle, clicker and incremental differ.
What sets Antimatter Dimensions apart is how many times it does that. One line on its store page reads: “After Infinity the game has just begun.” The fan wiki’s Reality page counts five consecutive reset systems, three of them full prestige layers:
| Reset | What it costs you | When it opens (per the fan wiki) |
|---|---|---|
| Dimension Boost | Your current run, for a new dimension | 20 of your highest dimension |
| Antimatter Galaxy | Your boosts, for stronger tickspeed | 80 Eighth Dimensions |
| Infinity (Big Crunch) | Everything above, for Infinity Points | About 1.79e308 antimatter |
| Eternity | Everything above, for Eternity Points | About 1.79e308 Infinity Points |
| Reality | Everything above, for Reality Machines | 1e4000 Eternity Points |
After Reality come seven Celestials, each with its own story and challenge, and the last one, Pelle, ends the game. On top of that sit three tiers of challenges and an Automator with its own scripting language. It is free on Steam with an In-App Purchases label, has been there since 17 December 2022, and has 4,624 reviews at 92.1% positive (as of October 2026).
Which games stack prestige resets like Antimatter Dimensions?
Sorted by how closely each one copies that structure. The layer count is what the store page or fan wiki names, not a full census, and every price is the regular US price.
| Game | Reset layers, in the order you meet them | First reset opens at | Price (as of October 2026) | Steam reviews (as of October 2026) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Revolution Idle | Three: Prestige, Infinity, Eternity, then a stage called Unity | Not given for Prestige; Infinity at about 1.79e308 (store page) | Free · In-App Purchases label | 12,538 at 86.5% positive |
| Synergism | Five: Prestige, Transcension, Reincarnation, Ascension, Singularity | Prestige at 1e16 coins (fan wiki) | Free · In-App Purchases label | 287 at 75.6% positive |
| Trimps | Two: the Portal, then a second universe with its own Portal | Portal after the level 20 Dimension of Anger map (fan wiki) | Free · In-App Purchases label | 1,499 at 90.3% positive |
| Idling to Rule the Gods | Two: Rebirth and Ascend (store page) | Not given on its store page | Free · In-App Purchases label | 2,137 at 84.7% positive |
| Orb of Creation | One: New Game+ after the ending, with drafted prestige upgrades | After the ending | $11.99 | 2,245 at 84.4% positive |
| NGU INDUSTRIES | None named; materials go infinite instead | No reset named | Free · In-App Purchases label · Early Access | 1,573 at 77.3% positive |
On a Mac, Synergism, Idling to Rule the Gods, Orb of Creation and NGU INDUSTRIES have macOS builds, while Revolution Idle and Trimps are Windows only on Steam. Idling to Rule the Gods is the only one with a Linux build.
Five of the six are free and all five carry Steam’s In-App Purchases label, the same as Antimatter Dimensions. If a shop inside the game is a dealbreaker, the list of idle games on Steam without microtransactions reads those labels game by game.
Revolution Idle
Revolution Idle is the best game like Antimatter Dimensions for most people, because its layers line up with Antimatter Dimensions’ almost name for name. You fill circles, speed them up with colour spectrums, prestige to boost multipliers and raise your exponent, and at about 1.79e308 you trigger Infinity, which its store page follows with Generators, Challenges, Stars, then Eternity, which “resets everything”. The page names one more stage after that, Unity, without saying what it does. It has a macro builder to “create your own automation strategies” and lists 520+ achievements. It came to Steam on 1 May 2025 and has 12,538 reviews at 86.5% positive (as of October 2026). Its page also promises progress synced across PC, Android and iOS, which makes it the answer if you searched for a version of this on your phone.
Synergism
Synergism is the pick for someone who wants more full resets than Antimatter Dimensions has. The Synergism fan wiki lists four milestones: Prestige at 1e16 coins, Transcension at 1e100 coins, Reincarnation at 1e300 Mythos shards and Ascension after beating Challenge 10. A separate wiki page names Singularity as the fifth tier of reset. Its challenge system, as the store page has it, “develops on itself again, and again, and again.” It has been a web game since 1 May 2020, per its Steam page. The weak point is the Steam record: it reached Steam on 20 February 2026 and has 287 reviews at 75.6% positive (as of October 2026), which is Steam’s Mostly Positive band and a small sample next to its years as a web game.
Trimps
Trimps is the one for players who liked Antimatter Dimensions’ challenges more than its numbers. You breed small creatures, put them to work and send them into zones, and once you clear the Dimension of Anger map at level 20 you unlock the Portal, its reset. Its store page counts over 50 challenges that “tweak the Universe in different ways”, and a second universe opens once your pet, Fluffy, reaches Evolution 8 Level 10, per the Trimps wiki. The same page promises “Trimploads of automation, with detailed levels of customization.” Trimps has been a web game since 2015, according to its Steam page, came to Steam on 2 May 2022 and has 1,499 reviews at 90.3% positive (as of October 2026). Windows only on Steam.
Idling to Rule the Gods
Idling to Rule the Gods is the pick if you want two prestige layers in a mostly text game. You create shadow clones, train them and fight gods one after another, and its store page names two prestige mechanics, “Rebirth and Ascend”, both for permanent bonuses. The same page warns that it is “mostly text based” and “might also not be as easy to understand as some other games.” It has been on Steam since 27 May 2016, with 2,137 reviews at 84.7% positive (as of October 2026), and it is the only game here with a Linux build.
Orb of Creation
Orb of Creation is the pick if you liked deciding things in Antimatter Dimensions more than waiting for them. Its store page calls it a “non-idle incremental-puzzle game”: you cast spells to conjure resources, and every new layer feeds the last. The developer’s announcements promise “The game has a start… and an end!” After the ending, New Game+ hands you random challenges, and a March 2026 dev update explains that its prestige upgrades, called Time Runes, are drafted during the run. It is the only paid game here, at $11.99 regular price. It reached 1.0 on 23 June 2026 and has 2,245 reviews at 84.4% positive (as of October 2026). For more games with a real finish, see idle games that actually end.
NGU INDUSTRIES
NGU INDUSTRIES trades resets for a factory grid. You lay out buildings and beacons, and once one building makes a trillion of a material in a single bar fill, that material goes infinite for good, per the fan wiki’s Infinity page. Its store page names no prestige reset, and neither does the wiki’s feature list. The wiki’s guide for new players says it is “best enjoyed over many months”. Pick it if the Antimatter Dimensions feeling you miss is slow optimisation, and skip it if you want resets. It is free, has been in Early Access since April 2021 with no full release yet, and has 1,573 reviews at 77.3% positive (as of October 2026).
Which one fits what you liked about Antimatter Dimensions?
| If you liked | Play | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Infinity, then Eternity, then more | Revolution Idle | Same names, same 1.79e308 wall |
| The Automator | Revolution Idle | A macro builder for your own automation, per its store page |
| Stacking as many resets as possible | Synergism | Five reset tiers on the fan wiki |
| Challenges that change the rules | Trimps | Over 50 challenges and a second universe |
| Prestige in a text-heavy game | Idling to Rule the Gods | Rebirth and Ascend, both named on its store page |
| Active decisions and an ending | Orb of Creation | Non-idle, finishes, then New Game+ |
| Tuning one long-running setup | NGU INDUSTRIES | Factory layouts, no reset named |
None of the six store pages mentions a scripting language like the Automator’s. Revolution Idle’s macro builder and Trimps’ customisable automation are the closest things to it here.
If you only install one, install Revolution Idle. If you have already played it, Synergism is the deepest next step and Trimps the most varied. The broader idle starting point is our list of games like Cookie Clicker, and if you play on a Mac, the list of idle games for Mac checks each store page’s macOS line.
Quick answers
Is there a game like Antimatter Dimensions on iOS or Android? Yes. Revolution Idle has phone versions on both, and its Steam page says your progress carries between them and the PC build. Synergism also has an iOS app from its own developers, Platonic and Khafra.
Are there games like Revolution Idle to play next? Yes. Synergism is the step up in depth, with five reset tiers against the three Revolution Idle’s page names before Unity. Trimps is the sideways move: fewer layers, but over 50 challenges that each change how a run plays.
Are games like Antimatter Dimensions free? Five of the six here cost nothing on Steam (as of October 2026), and each of those five carries an In-App Purchases label. Orb of Creation is the exception, at $11.99 regular price.
How many prestige layers does the deepest game here have? Five, in Synergism: Prestige, Transcension, Reincarnation, Ascension and Singularity, per its fan wiki. Antimatter Dimensions has three full prestige layers, Infinity, Eternity and Reality, with Dimension Boosts and Galaxies as smaller resets beneath them.
Where our game fits
Our own game, Sam, We Talked About This, sits beside this list rather than on it. It is an idle incremental game where you scrape data, train models on it, let the models win subscribers and turn them into cash for more disks, bigger machines and a bigger crew, with AGI waiting at the end. It differs from everything above in the way this list cares about most: its store page names no reset layers, and we are not promising any. It is unreleased, due on Steam in Q1 2027, with nothing to point at yet. The Steam page for Sam, We Talked About This is live if you want to follow it.
